NEW: up to 30 or 15 minutes Zoom readings available now

I am now offering a sort of combination ‘dealer’s choice’ personalised readings on Zoom for up to 15 or 30 minutes. A recent client called it ‘spiritual life coaching‘ which seems apt. 

These are the only types of sessions and services that I am offering right now, other than the free prayer services mentioned elsewhere on this blog. (Those with gift certificates/other prepaid appointments can of course have those honoured for the services specified on the gift certificate, and if they want to choose among the new options for the time specified on the certificate, that’s fine too: the duration/minutes of the session do not change, but the activities within them can be switched to this current offering instead of the specified ‘tarot’ or ‘mediumship’ only.)

These sessions are spontaneously customised and different every time and include whatever best helps your situation and promotes the best outcome and highest good. The clients tell me if there are areas of life they wish to examine, or just all of it in general, and if there is a preference of techniques used.

The readings might include mediumship, psychic, tarot, me revisiting a past life of the client and offering advice about how that might affect current issues, advice from the client’s spirit guides or helpers (not all of whom I can perceive all the time but some of whom readily come through), and/or ‘soul readings’ where higher energy gives you best advice for your spiritual growth and expansion of wisdom and ability etc. (YES, there has recently been spontaneous singing of old pre-war blues and disco and classic rock songs and some rockabilly and some New Wave, and individual prescribed dance moves that come through me in sessions for clients which I do and then teach them with instructions. NO, that can’t be guaranteed to happen but they’re pretty fun and specifically useful to the client when they happen. I secretly love it when that happens but give no guarantee of vocal quality since it often isn’t mine.)

Usually all of these sessions involve higher energies communicating through me, as opposed to me simply blabbing personal opinions.

There is no guarantee of a specific loved one in spirit (meaning they passed away) being present, for example, especially if the person has recently passed, since it can take time for beings to understand that they are dead or other factors may affect them. I have been really reluctant to charge for straight mediumship sessions, since it feels like some of those spirits need to come through whether or not the living sitter can afford the session or comes to me here, but those folks have a way of finding me through other means or the spirits will show up during these paid sessions and be happy to be there. 

What I am charging for is my time, abilities, experience with a wide range of seriously diverse clients from various backgrounds, age groups, and parts of the world, understanding and experience of trauma on many levels, and willingness to be open to these energies for your and their sakes.

These readings are listed as ‘up to’ 15 or 30 minutes because sometimes what needs to be said and done happens in a shorter period of time and the client and energies and I are satisfied that it is done and we all let it go a few minutes earlier than the 15 or 30; now and again the reading goes a few minutes longer and is not charged extra except if someone is trying to take advantage. There will be no refunds when the session has begun except if for some reason I feel I cannot read for the client. 

This all works best when the client brings an open mind and good attitude and WANTS to have a session and is open to seeing that it might be fun and worthwhile. Otherwise, please don’t bother to sign up for one. It would be like an unwanted uncomfortable first date that goes nowhere for any of us, and you would have more fun elsewhere doing something else! If you are thinking of giving gift sessions to someone else, they really need to know about it and want it. Thank you.

Payment is to be prepaid at time of making the appointment, via Paypal at laughingdakini at twc dot com and is US$108.00 for the ‘up to 30 minutes’ session and US$54.00 for the ‘up to 15 minutes’ session. 

24-hour notice of cancellation must be given for refund (and if there’s no reason that makes sense to us both, it’s unlikely you’ll get another appointment since I prefer clients who really enjoy and appreciate the services offered and there are not many open appointments available most of the time). 

The Zoom camera must be on for the duration of the reading, and the client should be alone in the room, since others being present can be distracting and a waste of good money and better opportunity. If pets come in that is usually completely fine if the client is not distracted by it.

As usual, these readings are completely confidential (with the firm clear have-to-repeat-it-a-lot statement that I do not help to do nor solve crimes, so don’t even try thanks) and I never tell anyone the names/concerns of clients without their permission. You will note that even some of the endorsements here may have nicknames or initials only as per the client’s wishes and that’s fine with me.

It is so so so much more fun and worthwhile that way.

My schedule is very busy, varying each week, and sessions are most likely to be offered for afternoon and evening hours eastern time zone–please note the time zone and adjust accordingly.

UPDATE: ONLY DOING HEALING (FREE) FOR TERMINALLY ILL OR THOSE IN INTENSIVE CARE FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE

I am spending the majority of my time doing healing for children and adults with terminal diagnoses or in the ICU, as part of a Spiritualist Church group online. The service is of course free and we are keeping anonymous/confidential case notes as part of a study on the sort of results that have been happening to those whom we send healing to (they are also under medical care, so no claims of us being fully responsible for it or anything, but a number of the doctors have said that some of the patients have shown unexpectedly great results in quality of life, length of life, general regaining of abilities, that sort of thing).

All they need is the person’s first name and last initial, and sometimes a photo helps but it is not mandatory. There are a number of smaller groups that meet throughout the week so a lot of healing gets sent.

Nope, I don’t. I’m more of a precision tool for certain things, and it would be foolish to waste that if it wasn’t wanted and didn’t benefit the client. If you were contemplating trying a session/booking another session for the very very good price of US$35.00 for up to 30 minutes, that price will stop at midnight going into Saturday April 6 of this year. It is sometimes not clear when midnight of a certain day is–that day, the next day, toMAYto, toMAHto–but for our purposes, it’s the minute it starts–so great price up til 11:59 pm Friday, then the usual higher chichi price as of midnight into Saturday (with the understanding that I am unlikely to be unkind on the picky details if someone shows willing and misses by a short time).

The sessions can be booked and paid for now and scheduled for later, just like the rest of them, but they will be the usual price of US$54.00 for up to 15 minutes and US$108.00 for up to 30 minutes from that time onward.

Shoutin’ Into the Void!

I am continuing my Spiritualist mediumship education and it never stops!

Long, long ago, about the year 2000, I spent a few years taking in-person weekly classes on and off with the respected Rev. Steve Hermann

who was then living fulltime in Massachusetts. In the intervening years, although mediumship was not my main focus by any means, I took a few more seminars and advanced classes in the subject with folks here and there, including the recently-departed (and still very funny) George Koury

( http://www.spiritlovesyou.com ).

I was so happy to find that Steve is now giving online classes which I have been attending and am continuing to attend, and I would recommend his classes and his three books (available through his website above) to anyone interested in forwarding their mediumship skills in an ethical and capable manner. His focus has always been on the ‘highest and best’ energies available, and the results of the meditations and classes have been very good quality and of a genuinely healing nature, which is so valuable and not as common in my experience as I would like it to be. I can go to a class of his online and feel genuine *physical* and energetic improvement in my body immediately, plus gaining greatly-increased insight, and it has been so worthwhile and uplifting. It also helps that he enjoys my unusual style and is very supportive of my continued non-traditional and diverse learning as well as the traditional Spiritualist formats.

I have also been attending other Spiritualist mediumship classes, seminars, church services, and meetups online elsewhere with a diverse range of folks to continue to further develop my skills at communicating with those in spirit, and have been learning a great deal and meeting other fine teachers and fellow students. It cheers me that there is always someone there to talk to, so to speak, departed loved ones and teachers who were perhaps previously unknown, although it used to scare me at night as a kid to see and hear random who-knew-whats as I tried to get to sleep. Eventually it intrigued me at college-age to see some beings show up at the house of someone I was dating–their family home used to be a mortuary and a couple of ghosts, dark people-looking shapes of different heights, would show up and stand at the foot of the sleeping areas and look at me anytime I slept there by myself, whether I slept in beds or camped on the floor in different rooms. There was no real communication that I understood at that time, but it happened repeatedly enough that there was clearly something there, and no chance of trickery in a household of half a dozen people including parents who simply lived there and were not interested in pretending to be ghosts for the guest!

As an aside, and really importantly, I had a personal intensive healing session with the High Oracle of Tibet and his attendant in NYC, by what seemed complete happenstance, shortly after I got electrocuted in mid-2007. Also quirkily, I eventually spent some time in person with the High Oracle of Bhutan at a private lama’s home in NY state when he was here for teachings. As time has gone on, these exchanges and opportunities seem to have been helping my mediumship dramatically.

In my classes and readings, it is fascinating to me to see the long tradition of Spiritualist (and other) mediumship, the true and the fakes that arose along the way, and how to tell the difference.

To update, I keep reading countless books that I am not bothering to write here yet–oops. Maybe I will catch up someday. They include a ton of autobiographies by modern mediums, good and bad and iffy and obscure and famous and great, as well as the older volumes. Each has something to teach, even if only cautionary tales of what not to be or do!

It seems more important to include a list of teachers I have studied with and am studying with live in person and live on Zoom. I am not including videos or shows that anyone can see (although I have viewed many) but am limiting it to interactive mediumship seminars, healing and mediumship seminars, ongoing mediumship and channelling mentorships and classes etc. which I have actually taken. Those other teachers whose character did not impress me are NOT on the list. At least I have not made a naughty list like some might!

If the person is listed individually on this list, the teacher knows me by name and sight and usually has extensive experience of me and my work, and I have respect and appreciation for that teacher and the teachings thay have given me.

I have also attended and truly enjoyed and benefitted from live seminars/classes online of a few hours each by teachers including Gurdeep Bhogal, Colby Rebel, Leanne McDonald, Lou Ann Beecher, the legendary and enjoyable Stephan A. Schwartz, and others. More names will be added as they happen or as I fish through my notebooks about what I attended and when! There were a ton of in-person teachings and seminars at various in-person professional tarot conferences etc. that I have to winnow and name-drop too–!

Here’s my continuing reading list on the subject, and I have fallen far behind in listing books. Oh well. Most were written between about 1864 and the 1930s, and some day I may get around to putting the dates on them:

These are excellent guides for those interested in improving their knowledge and skills in the subject, and were written within the last half-dozen years or so. ‘Welcome Back To The Office’ HALF-PRICE SALE in September!
